Learn About the Trip at Our Informational Get-Togethers
Another way that you can learn the details of this trip and answer your questions is to attend our China 2010 Informational Get-Togethers. The Get-Together will begin at 5:30pm and end at about 7:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. The Get-Together will be held at 300 Broadhollow Rd. (the Bank of America Building) in Melville. (Future dates to be announced soon)
Deposit, passport & visa
A nonrefundable deposit of $200 per person is required at the time of registration. Full payment is due before TBD. Download a registration form or pick one up at the Long Island Association’s office at 300 Broadhollow Road, Melville, Suite 110W (in the Bank of America Building).
Passport and travel visa are required. Securing or updating a passport is the traveler’s responsibility. Travelers may obtain their own visas or the LIA will handle the visa application process for a $160 fee. Download a visa application form.

Waiver and Release of Liability Forms
Travelers must submit two signed waiver and release forms (PDFs). No traveler will be permitted on this trip unless he or she has submitted to the LIA and Citslinc International a properly signed waiver and release of liability form. Travel Insurance
There is a $500 cancellation fee, which is imposed by the airline, after tickets are purchased, if you should need to cancel your trip for any reason. We strongly suggest you acquire travel insurance that would cover such a loss. The LIA has arranged to offer travelers insurance for this trip through Austin Travel. If you would like travel insurance, please fill out the appropriate portion of the registration form and the LIA will put you in contact with Austin Travel for that purpose.
Business Opportunities
This trip will allow you to begin to discover the real China, including the business opportunities that may be available to you there. The LIA and the tour operator will seek to arrange a business contact specific to your business with whom you can meet in China.
How to Register
Registration for this trip must be done by filling out the registration form and sending it to the LIA by mail or by fax, or by delivering it to the LIA's offices in person. The LIA's address is 300 Broadhollow Road (Route 110), Suite 110W, Melville, NY 11743. Our fax number is 631-499-2194. Online registration will not be available for this trip. Your registration form must be accompanied by either complete and valid credit card information, or a personal check for $200 made out to the Long Island Association, Inc. Your $200 registration fee is not refundable for any reason if you are registered for this trip. Registration will be on a strictly first-come-first-served basis. Sending the LIA a registration form and payment will not guarantee that you will be registered. If the LIA cannot accept your registration for this trip, we will return your $200 fee in full. No registrations will be accepted after January 1, 2010. For those travelers whose registration is accepted, payment in full must be made on or before Jauary 1, 2010.
